Some days are better than others, at least that’s what Mom said about the mischief I got into. It all started innocently. A dip in my friend’s pool

And then, Blackie (my friend’s kitty) walked into the yard.
She said: ‘Let’s race!’
And we did.
Across the yard we went.
Blackie led the way, I was right behind.
Over the fence she went
and so did I.
That’s the fence I went over.
We were just having fun….what’s the big deal? Oh, right, Mom. I’m not a cat. I’m not suppose to jump over fences. Well…..I do agility. Does that count?

Jumping over the fence rates high on our mischief scale! Nice work!
Bella and DiDi
Oh, Sage, what fun you had!!! Lightning is our jumper here. He can sail over the gates in the house. Mom is so worried he will go over our neighbor’s fence, Ours is five feet on three sides, but the neighbor’s forms the fourth side and it is only about 3.5 feet – smooth sailing for that long legged boy.
So who won the race?
Woos – Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Blackie, of course. I think I took too long going over the fence.
That must have been a pretty impressive leap!
Wow Sage! That’s a really tall fence….You are ready for the Olympics!!
Wyatt and Stanzie
Blackie and I had a little talk last night, and he was quite impressed by your jumping after him over a 5-1/2 foot fence. He had thought he could just take it easy once he was on the other side. I guess he knows now that you are an exceptionally talented puppy!
P.S. Blackie demanded lots and lots of petting from our Guardian last night and again this morning. I think he was a bit shaken that you got so close!
That fence looks pretty tall. You must have some serious hops! I’m glad my pups can’t jump that high. I hope you didn’t get into too much trouble with mom.
Hehehe that’s P-awesome:-)
That looks like quite a high fence. Now that you’ve gone over once, will you be doing it again soon? Oh oh.
Not if Mom has her way….
That was a very impressive up and over!!!!!
Impressive! Now my next question is–did your Mom scramble over the fence right after you?
No. She was a sissy and went around. She did threaten me with 5 days in the slammer though.
Hey Sage, Jet here.
Whoa, you jumped that high? Sage, even though that wasn’t a great idea from the human perspective, from my K9 perspective you deserve an Olympic high jumping medal…
Hey, Jet! Thanks…I didn’t want to let it out right away, but that’s my goal!
Don’t you know all dogs are part cat? BOL!! And what cat wouldn’t want to chased by a dog?
Well, Sage, did you win? BOL!!
Be careful Sage – you could hurt yourself jumping over fences. Great pictures
You jumped the fence like a kitteh? I mean really, wot do your mom think? You sleep in the kitteh condo why not jump fences with kittehs? You go girl! But you did come back, didn’t you?
That’s true, Shawnee! It must be livin’ with these 2 kittehs that’s got me all discombobulated.
Wow that’s a pretty high fence Sage, you better be careful you don’t break something.
That’s a pretty high fence! You sure got into some good mischief.
Too Funny!!
Wow. That is a high fence. I bet if you were in the agility ring your Mom would have been grinning from ear to ear
That a pretty tall fence to leap over! I bet you did it in a single bound!
Lol sweet Sage it sounds like the race was on! That pool looks like a great place to cool after a nice race. You are quite the jumper but when you enter a race you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Hugs and nose kisses
Hey Sage,
You’re so funny!! You must have given your Mum a big shock!! I’m so glad you got back ok!! I have no idea what I’d do if a Cat actually came into our garden – it’s never happened yet!!
So, did you win the race? Silly question, hey?
Wags to all,
Your pal Snoopy
Cleared the fence?! Nice! Just practice for that agility, I’m sure.
Uh-oh, Sage! Have you been taking lessons from Desmond?
