My First Year in Pictures

I told Mom we should show how much I’ve grown this year–I think I can find some of my bestest photos for you!

This is my very first day home! I was 10-weeks old. My ears are folded down and I had short, funny-looking fur.

We went to the ocean for the very first time (for me, of course) when I was 3-months old.

At 4-months, my ears were starting to stand up! Well, sorta….

It was summer, and I discovered water!! This is me at the Sandy River at 7-months old.

You KNOW how much I love the water!! But did you know I was a fountain!

At 8-months old, I was really enjoying lots of water fun and running on the river beach!

When I was around 10-months old, I had to establish my rights in the cat tree.

And after that battle was won, I moved on to digging. One of my passions still…

I helped Mom rake leaves when I was 1-year old!

And here I am today, still a bit gangly but having lots of fun!

I want to thank all of you for visiting my blog this past year! I’ve made so many new friends that I can’t even count them all (counting is not one of my best skills though). I also thought that since I was a “bratty teenager” (that’s what Mom said, anyhow), I would update my blog site! I’m still working on it, so keep checking back.

I can’t wait to tell you all my adventures in 2011!!

That Bowl has Water in It!

Today, I started out racing and chasing anything I could find. Around and around the yard; back in the house; chase a cat; back outside; SLAM–I hit the back door. Oops. Toby was cheering me on! I think I was a little crazy! I guess that hyper-button got stuck again……

Finally I laid down in the kitchen near my water bowl where it was nice and cool and wet. Really wet. Really, REALLY wet.

Mom said “Sage, what have you done?” I dunno, what did I do? I got up and walked around, looking to see what I did. Boy, that floor was wet–I was dripping! And now there were a lot of muddy footprints on the floor. They kinda looked like mine.

This is after Mom cleaned it up.

I think I somehow got a LOT of water out of that bowl where Toby and I drink. I’m not sure how I did it, but remember I was a little crazy. Dad said I probably had a mouth full of water and squirted it out (like when I was a fountain). Mom thinks I started digging in the bowl because I do that sometimes.

Mom and I cleaned it all up. She said I was a BIG help!! I love to be a helper.

I got to go to the park later so I could race and chase some more!!

Now, I’m taking a nap.

It’s fun being a puppy.

Mom’s Bluetooth

I like to chew on things–Mom says that’s because I’m still a puppy. One day, not long ago, I got my Mom’s bluetooth off the end table. I don’t usually chew on Mom or Dad’s things, but this looked particularly interesting. I was doing a pretty good job of taking it apart (isn’t that what you’re suppose to do), when Mom saw me. She said: “Sage, what have you done?” I knew from the tone of her voice that this wasn’t going to be good.

Mom came over and I played “keep away” again. I like that game. She’s pretty smart though and had a treat in her hand. That bluetooth really didn’t taste as good as a treat, so I gave it to her. I was really proud though–there were 5 little pieces that she could use!

Mom and Dad said they had to go get another bluetooth. Mom told me that it’s the law in Oregon–whatever that means.
