Did you know my birthday is just a week away? It is. I’m going to be 1-year old! I think that’s pretty grown up, but Mom says not yet. But she did fix something special tonight. I think it’s an early birthday celebration–at least that’s what I’m calling it.
A peanut butter and carrot cake with Mom’s homemade yogurt on top.
I do have to confess something though–I wasn’t too sure about eating it at first. I’ve never had cake before, but Toby said it was OK. His was already gone. Can you believe it? One bite. Wow, I was impressed. I guess I’d better get at mine before he decides to eat it too!!
Good to the last crumb! Can I have more???

Cool! Abby’s 1 year birthday is coming up in a few weeks, but Mom says it is unlikely that she’ll do anything too special, other than possibly try to get photos of us with party hats on (that didn’t work so well for my 1st birthday… or my 2nd birthday for that matter…). However, we are fairly spoiled as it is, so I’m sure we’ll get some treats regardless! 😉 In the meantime I’d work on your cake-eating skills so you don’t lose out to Toby!
