They say a mud bath is good for you. It has healing properties and said to be a beauty treatment that revitalizes the skin; gets rid of toxins; exfoliates and nourishes–whatever. I think mud is just plain good–good to eat and good to lay in. It’s suppose to be warm, or maybe hot–that’s what hu-mans think. They don’t know the beneficial factors of COLD mud. Yes, C-O-L-D COLD mud. It’s invigorating.
Who knows how cold that mud was. I don’t have a thermo-meter with me. Mom said it was COLD! 35 degrees COLD, well, not the mud puddle–it was probably colder. Hu-mans are such wimps (except those Polar Bear crazies). They just don’t know good MUD!!
I bet you can’t guess how much dirt was in the tub when I got a bath? Mom wouldn’t even do it in her tub–she took me to this place where they washed dogs. And I scored with a ton of treats!!

A mud bath, and treats afterwards? It sounds like the perfect day… even though you did have to take a bath in the middle.

I sure hope you could walk to that place where they wash dogs – I can’t image what a car would look like after you’ve been in it. 🙂

Next time, try rolling around in it, so you get the full body mudifying beauty effect on your back and sides too. You gotta really rub it in good for the best results. Just my two cents worth, but good job getting treats afterwards!

Way to go Sage! ‘fraid my Human would of said “LEAVE IT” before I had a chance to plop down…or she’d do a recall.
My Human says to ask your Human what her car looked like when you got to the doggie spa??? Did she have to take the car to a car spa and get it detailed???
Y’all come by now,

I agree with you, a mud bath feels great, but people don’t generally appreciate the new floor decorations, so you have to take a bath afterward. I guess that’s the only downside of a good mud bath.
