We’ve had the 5th rainiest March EVER in Portland, so I told Mom that 1000 Acres would be tops in mud-puddling. I think she felt sorry for me because I had to go to the V-E-T yesterday, but, secretly, deep in my heart, I knew she thought I deserved a day in the mud. Really! And it was a glorious day! The sun was shining and it was in the mid-60s. Mom was even in her shirt sleeves! My BFF Kaly and I did some exploring. Things were starting to green up–munching grass is mighty fine right now. Tender and sweet….
There were lots of dogs out there today. We love meeting new friends!
And, of course, there’s always the mud….
I’m sooooo glad Kaly likes water almost as much as I do.
But, that’s not all! This adventure is not over! We’ll be back with more…wet…fun photos of our water play, so be sure to check back! I’m off to see what all my friends are doing in blog-land. See you there!!

Whatever are you going to do when summer comes and all that glorious mud dries up?
DOES it dry up???

You do love your mud. 🙂 I’m glad your trip to the vet was routine. I was surprised to learn that you like going to the vet. Maybe you could have a word with my hounds about that. I have to drag Zoe through the door at the vet, or just pick her up. Naughty girl. Have a great weekend!!

You and your mud! BOL! We have heard a lot of our Portland friends complaining about the rain, and everybody so far has talked about the last day of no rain a lot! It must be newsworthy!

We heard from Wyatt and Stanzie about all the rain in March there, but we can see you have a beautiful spring day there now. Ciara is cheering for the mud. Hope you had lots of fun with all those other beautiful pups.

We wouldn’t mind a bit of mud ourselves. But we don’t have any at the moment so we just watched you have fun in it.

Dog heaven! When I was up in Portland for a family visit, we went to Hazelia Field dog park, in Lake Oswego, but 1000 acres looks amazing!
