Bouncing through the Meadow

We went to 1000 Acres a couple of days ago. It’s a whole other world in the summer (that means mud-puddling is out, in case you’re wondering). The rivers are so low I can’t even go swimming. But there’s always the meadows, and there’s lots of them out there. My favorite thing to do is go bouncing over the tall grasses.

Mom calls it Springboking…I told her she was silly. I just think I see better from a higher vantage point and there’s a lot to see. Field mice. Lost balls. All the good things in life.
