As the Fog Lifted

The fog was lifting from the hills when fog

Mr. N and I met up out at 1000 acres–it was more like 10,000 puddles, but who’s counting? After all, this is Portland!

We did have fun exploring What's down there?and getting muddySage Mr. NMr. N is a tiny bit more fastidious than I, but we both ended up with baths…

Oh, and I also had a mani-pedi. Check it out!

  1. Hahaha… Mud and puddles are some of my (dogs’) favorite things 😀 They haven’t figured out the connection between mud (muddy sand in this part of the world) and baths yet. You’d think they would, seeing as it happens so often, but no. They still give me this surprised-betrayed look when I lead them over to the shower area.

There’s no happiness like that of a muddy, exhausted dog 🙂

  2. Let the puddles begin! Our mountains of snow are starting to melt which means we are all a big mess when we come back from a walk. Lots of dirty puddles to tromp through!

  3. That’s a great shot of the fog- it’s one of my favorite things about Cascadia! We tromped through a lot of mud yesterday but we humans were not wise enough to get the canines quickly into the bath. Instead, we have a bed Nd a couch and a floor covered in grit. Yuck.

  4. Oh my gosh! I was wondering if that was you in Mr. N’s pictures! I almost said “The other dog looks so much like Sage.” Hee hee! I was right!
It looks like you two had a great time. My dogs would love this. Glad you had fun. Thanks for making me smile. 🙂

  5. I would have been concerned the world was ending or something, if you had not led Mr. N into the mud. After all, the mud is your oyster! 🙂
