It’s been cold here. Not like the rest of this country, but we got our share! Even so, we ventured out to my favorite running spot–1000 Acres! And what did I find?
A big ol’ earth mover thingee!
Please, please, please Santa. I want one!
Wow, I bet that thing can dig a ginormous hole. 😉
But, then, when I looked for a hole (hoping to find some water/mud) 
what did I find?
Hard water!! What’s up with that???
Oh, and take a look at my tail
See? It’s all pointy – not all fluffy like when I was on that ol’ earth mover thingee.
Well, as luck would have it, I ran into these…
And they aren’t easy to get out. Mom holds my fur back and I pull with my teeth. Let me tell you…she’s not allowed to pull them. No way!
And, I ended up with this.

Oh gosh burrs are the worst; my dog Laika gets so annoyed when I try to gently remove them. We’ve also seen some thin ice lately which is always fun – my dog is so perplexed. Looks like you had a nice adventure; and as a wise man once said the best adventures end up with a bath 🙂

Sage, you are so cute!! 😀 I love the pictures with you and the big hole digger thingy!! Also, I’m very sorry about the burs. They are no fun! Baths suck, too! I pulled a thorn out from right near Phoenix’s eye ball when we went for our walk with you today.. Silly girl.. can’t keep her out of the blackberries! We had lots of fun, though and I hope we can get together with you again, soon!! Tell your mom I sent her an email! 😀

Oh Sage I hate those stickery things too. When Oskar the Samoyed used to get them I had to hold the hair close to his skin and Grandma would help me gently work them out of his fur. I hated those things! Sorry your water is froze over.
