Well, I went to Fido’s. My other favorite dog park is sorta under water, since the Columbia is at flood stage. Well, some places, at least. What’s with all this water stuff? I love it, but……….In-between showers, Mom planted some posies. These were Gerber Daisys.
A few Bracopa–it holds up well when we have heat. (Heat? What’s that?)
Lewisia is one of Mom’s favorites! It’s a Oregon native perennial named after Meriwether Lewis. That guy was everywhere! He even went to 1000 Acres–my favorite outdoor dog park (which is kinda under water, in case you missed that little tidbit). I wonder what it was like when he was there?
Mom just added the yellow one to her collection and she now has 4 different color varieties. She planted the white one below a couple of years ago and it already needs dividing!
This is a Calibrachoa or Superbell. It’s kinda like a petunia–at least it does well in the heat. (We’re still waiting for it, but when it comes–watch out!!) And guess what’s this Superbell’s called? Tequila Sunrise!! Doesn’t that just make you want to dance?
Oh, and speaking of petunias, Mom bought some BLACK petunias. BLACK. Yep, that’s what I said–BLACK. We don’t have any pictures yet, but just wait! They were not happy with the rain and closed their doors…..
I have to tell you, this is what I did while Mom was planting……Yep! The condo’s still mine!!
So, what have you been doing? I’m going to the Saturday Blog Hop–see you there!!

You know Sage, you are almost too big for the condo now. You better not grow any more, if you want to keep fitting in it. LOL!!!

Hi Y’all!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend! Lots of time for y’all to get all the gardenin’ done.
Oh heat, you ask what’s that? It’s what we’re having here, and have been having…90 plus Fahrenheit. The airconditioning is set at 78 and even then almost never stops.
Y’all come by now,

That looks like a pretty awesome condo.
Strangely I don’t think the Willamette is flooded at all down my direction. In fact, we were just talking about taking a kayaking trip down it sometime soon!
Hopefully the Columbia will go back down soon, and let you back at 1000 acres!

Oliver is loving the idea of an indoor doggie daycare. He’s more the indoor sort than Tanner, my Golden Retriever, who would stay outside to play ALL DAY if I let him. Hope you have time to enter the Organix dog food giveaway: http://www.allthingsdogblog.com/2011/05/organix-dog-food-giveaway-12-bags-of.html

Beautiful flowers. You might be sick of the rain, but the flowers love it. I hope it dries up soon so you can go on more outdoor adventures. By the way, you look nice and comfy there on the condo. 🙂

What pretty flowrs, Miss Sage! My mom likes flowrs but she can’t do much in the yard because she gets lots of sneezies. Fido’s sounds like lots of fun and it’s nice that you have somewheres to go run around even when your favorite park is all soggy!
