October means pumpkins and mazes and witches and goblins–I settled for pumpkins and mazes. Those other two are too skeery!
So, Mr. N and I took off to a pumpkin patch on Sauvie Island and what did we find? A maze!!Into the maze we went–what a lot of back and forthing! I was getting a bit dizzy. We needed a plan. Just ahead was a platform of sorts with a couple of scarecrows just hanging around. We climbed up…
What did I see but another scarecrow way out over a sea of corn. And look at those trees behind it. Over to the right.
SPOOKY!!
So, on through the maze we went and finally tracked our way out. We did a lot of sniffin’–I think some of those witches and goblins had left their scent. 🙂
Then
I looked up
Mr. N! Get down!! What are you doing up there?
Pshew, for a second I thought Mr. N was a goner.
Then, I saw a hole and looked throughand there was a cow train!

Mooo-ve it on out, cow!
We ended up with a pumpkin or twoand called it another fun day!
Looks like an aMAZEing place. Love the fun stuff, we need a patch like that!

Sage, that looked quite skeery with those skeery crows and all. I was hoping you would not get lost in that maze but I so knowed your snooter would get you out of there. Nice job!

Then you should have been with me today at 1000 acres, Mr. N. I won’t tell Mom what scared me (she’s thinking bear??), but she’s never seen me like that. I think I sorta freaked her out….
