An Evening at the Park

We have a nice park near our house where we’ve been going to play in the evenings. We usually play ball (imagine that?), but tonight there were a bunch of dogs I wanted to run with. That’s good, because Mom forgot the ball 😦 .There were several dogs there tonight, so, of course, there’s always the “meet and greet” session.Maybe this dog will share his ball?No such luck, but that’s OK, because I decided zoomies were more my style tonight. When I do zoomies, Toby and I have our roles. He’s the cheerleader and I’m the runner. So, come on, let’s get a move on, dogs! I want to R-U-N. And off we went! After a few great runs, we head for home and walk by a house with a bunch of kittehs. At least I think they are kittehs–they don’t act like mine do. This one made a funny noise–sorta like a hisssssssss–and looked all blown up like a balloon. I wonder if it was letting out all its air and would go flat? I’m going to ask my kittehs if they can do that too.

And now I’m going to see who’s over at the Saturday Blog Hop. See you there!

  2. Some of those cats can be very strange and seem to get upset about nothing. It looks to me like you can run very fast and have lots of fun in the park.

  3. That looks like a whole lot of fun! Glad to see you were enjoying yourself without balls and mud, Sage! 🙂

Don’t forget to stop by and say hello!

  4. Love the idea of a run in the park – what a great idea! Especially with friends. Watch out for that grey one – reminds me of our Chairman Meow – freakishly grumpy!

Stopping by on the blog hop today. I’ve posted the very best cat song ever – it features the cat band and the cat lady. It’s destined to be a wildly popular song! Be among the first to see it!

  5. We don’t have any dog parks near us. Of course even if we did I don’t drive any more so the only time I could go would be when Tom was home and could take us!! I can’t pass the eye test for a driver’s license any more!! Darn!!

  6. Oh Sage – So funny! I had to laugh at your description of the roles you and Toby play. My Sheltie, Jasper, is also the cheerleader. Maybe it’s a herding dog thing? 🙂

I saw a cat do the hiss thing at the feed store (they sell good dog food too) and slap a dog with his paw. I’m guessing you’re too smart to get that close right? Or, maybe mom is the smart one and keeps you away? 🙂

    Happy blog hopping!

  7. Looks like you had tons of fun running around with the doggies at the park. What a nice place to go walk and play. We guess the kitty was jealous because you doggies were having way too much fun. Hugs and nose kisses

  8. Wowserz! Mommy’s never taken me to a doggie park before. Looks like you had a great time! Have you ever met any doggies who weren’t nice?

    Woofs & hugs,

  9. What a nice, friendly dog park! Julie’s woofie would love to visit (looks a little like the dog with a honey golden color). Glad you’re over where our book is getting published. Sage, hehe, keep an eye on them for us, wouldya? Actually, they’re super, but it’s nice to know you’re all in the same area.

Have fun, my furriend. Ah, youth. I wish I had your energy!
